Job in new (more professional) field requires out of state training. What to wear?
I haven’t had a “professional” job for quite a few years, and have been able to wear jeans and shorts to my current job. Don’t fit in my old dressy clothes, and I only have about three nice outfits now. So if I go out of town for the training, which is two weeks, how many outfits should I be taking? I looked at some of the area hotels, and a couple offer free laundry services, and available (not free) dry cleaning services as well.
You can’t go wrong with a good pair or two of black boot cut pants.
Try old navy. The essential trousers are great for work but you can dress them up or down as you like.
Plus they aren’t pricey like good professional wear at say Macys’ or some place like that.
So grab a couple of pairs to go with what you already have and you should be all set.
