Life Coach Questions
Are your days filled with the endless tasks of mommying, leaving you little time for self nourishment? Do you excel at taking care of everyone else in the family, but don’t manage to schedule time for what you love to do on your own? Do you wish for more intentionality and fulfillment in your life?
Life coaching is a particularly effective way of assessing how you live your life, and of initiating change from the inside out. As a mom, you may be so busy with the fulltime job of mommying that you become disconnected from yourself, leaving you vaguely dissatisfied and unsure how to bring your passion and vitality to the forefront. Through coaching, you set aside child-free time for exploring what is missing in your life and learning how to welcome more joy and ease.
The challenge for most moms is carving out the time to take care of yourself. Once the kids are in bed, the bills are paid, the work you didn’t finish during the workday is done and the kitchen is clean, most of you want to curl up in bed or watch a movie. Scheduling time to mother the mom comes last on a very long list of other activities, and it is important to remember that you aren’t SuperMom. However, we all know that when mom isn’t happy, noone is happy, so in a sense taking care of yourself is yet another responsibility you hold as a parent.
One way to mother yourself is through Life Coaching. With your coach, you will:
- Determine your level of satisfaction in each area of your life (family, health, personal development, etc)
- Identify your core values and explore how to honor them in the choices you make
- See how your thinking has held you back, and challenge limiting beliefs you maintain
- Identify what you want to change, strategize action, and hold yourself accountable
- Co-create a partnership that holds the power for you to bring your life in alignment with your values
As a mom you are great at taking care of others. Hire a Life Coach and do the same for yourself!
What are the chances I could make a living as a life coach?
I don’t mind being brutally honest and telling people what to do so I think I could pull it off. Also I know lots of people that are in dire need of such guidance. Thank you for taking time out to answer my question, now get back to work!
